Valley Bus Seidlwinkltal
From 15.06. until 22.09.2019, the valley bus will carry you from Rauris to Seidlwinkltal, a valley which is otherwise closed to public traffic from the Fleickweide car park on. Timetable Valley Bus Seidlwinkltal

June 22 -  September 29, 2019: Bus to Kolm Saigurn
Public Postbus No. 640 runs between Taxenbach, Rauris and Kolm Saigurn.

National Park excursion "Rauris Virgin Forest"

Rauris Virgin Forest at the Kolm Saigurn valley head is one of the most popular excursion destinations in Rauris Valley.

Dates:Every Monday from 13.07. to 07.09.2020
Meets:Lenzanger car park at 1 p.m., returns ca. 5 p.m.
Fees:Euro 12 per person (children and youths ages 6 – 16 accompanied by parents free). Participants with the Rauris Guest Card or National Park Summercard free of charge. 
Requirements:Challenging summer excursion, approx. 3 hours of total walking time, 200 m of altitude.
Other:No registration required.
The bus no 640 will take you from Rauris town center to car park Lenzanger and back (against payment).

National Park excursion "Valley of Vultures"

With the aid of the experience brought by the National Park Ranger him- or herself, and equipped with binoculars or a spotting scope, the chances of observing birds of prey during a National Park Excursion in Hohe Tauern National Park are actually very good.

Dates:Every Wednesday from 15.07. to 09.09.2019
Meets:Krumltal car park at 8:45 a.m., returns ca. 1 p.m.
Fees:Euro 12,- per adult. Children accompanied by their parents free of charge (up to age 16)
Guests with Guest Card or National Park Summer Card free.
Registration:Not required
Total walking time:3 hours (400-meter vertical gain)
Requirements:Moderately difficult summer excursion. Hiking or mountain shoes with a good tread are required.

National Park Excursion "Deer rutting tour"

A huge natural event which takes place every autumn in the National Park Hohe Tauern: roaring deer battling for the favor of the females in thrilling fights. You can experience this impressive event in the Rauris Valley during a guided hiking tour with a national park ranger.

Dates:10 and 24 September 2020
Meeting point:National Park House "Kings of the Air", 6 p.m.
Fee:Euro 12 per adult, children and youths (up to 16 years) accompanied by a parent are free.
