Snowshoe set rental

You can hire snowshoe sets from the Taxenbach tourist office and explore the wintry mountain landscape in and around Taxenbach and Rauris. 

Snowshoe hiking tip: A marked snowshoe trail leads from Alpengasthof Bodenhaus (1,280 m) to the end of the valley at Kolm Saigurn (1,600 m). The free valley bus takes snowshoe hikers, winter hikers and cross-country skiers from Rauris to the Bodenhaus and back every Wednesday and Friday.
