Rauris Valley Kreuzboden toboggan run 2 km of tobogganing fun

You can have fun tobogganing day and night on the 2 km long Kreuzboden toboggan run, which leads from the serviced Kreuzbodenhütte in the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen ski area to the valley station of the Kreuzboden chairlift (opening times depend on snow conditions).

The toboggan run is open daily during the day and can be used free of charge with a valid ski pass. In addition, every Monday and Thursday evening from 7 pm to 8.30 pm you have the opportunity to take the Kreuzboden double chairlift to the start of the toboggan run at approx. 1,300 metres.

Toboggans can be hired on site at the Kreuzboden valley station and at the Kreuzbodenhütte, at Intersport Pirchner and Sport Egger.

Illuminated natural toboggan run

During the day you can race down the toboggan run on your own, on Tuesdays and Saturdays you can also go tobogganing in the evening on the floodlit run from the ‘Crazy House’ to the Berggasthof Pilzegg.

With the Rodelexpress to the mountain inn 

You can reach the start of the toboggan run at Berggasthof Kohlschnait on foot or with the Rodelexpress (book in advance). The toboggan run is 3km long and is floodlit at night until 11pm. A toboggan can be hired from the mountain inn.

Alpine rollercoaster in Kaprun 

365 days of tobogganing fun

The year-round toboggan run on the Maiskogel in Kaprun offers fun for the whole family with a total ride time of approx. 12 minutes and speeds of up to 40 km/h in the two-seater toboggan. The Alpine rollercoaster boasts bridges, jumps, waves and the highest point at 11 metres above the ground. A real experience.

The longest floodlit toboggan run in the world

The 14 km long natural toboggan run provides action-packed experiences both during the day and in the evening.  The Smaragdbahn in Bramberg takes you up to the start of the toboggan run at 2,100 metres above sea level. The 30-50 minute ride covers 1,300 metres in altitude.

To get to the toboggan run at 1400 metres, you can either conquer the Biberg on foot or take a comfortable shuttle ride up. You can also enjoy tobogganing at night on the artificially lit run on the Biberg.
