During the day you can race down the toboggan run on your own, on Tuesdays and Saturdays you can also go tobogganing in the evening on the floodlit run from the ‘Crazy House’ to the Berggasthof Pilzegg.

You can reach the start of the toboggan run at Berggasthof Kohlschnait on foot or with the Rodelexpress (book in advance). The toboggan run is 3km long and is floodlit at night until 11pm. A toboggan can be hired from the mountain inn.

After about half an hour's hike from the valley, you reach the Grünegg Alm. After stopping for refreshments and a schnapps from the award-winning Edelbrände distillery, you can toboggan back down to the valley on the 1.5 km long toboggan run, which is illuminated at night.

The year-round toboggan run on the Maiskogel in Kaprun offers fun for the whole family with a total ride time of approx. 12 minutes and speeds of up to 40 km/h in the two-seater toboggan. The 14 km long natural toboggan run provides action-packed experiences both during the day and in the evening. The Smaragdbahn in Bramberg takes you up to the start of the toboggan run at 2,100 metres above sea level. The 30-50 minute ride covers 1,300 metres in altitude.
