CLIMBING IN SALZBURGERLAND Via ferratas in Taxenbach
The via ferratas in the Kitzlochklamm gorge are open from around mid-May when the gorge opens for the season. The via ferratas offer an extraordinary sporting experience in a charming setting. The roar of the Rauriser Ache river as an acoustic companion with a breathtaking view into the depths of the gorge.
The Kitz via ferratas have different levels of difficulty, are very selective and creatively designed and should not be underestimated under any circumstances. The cave sprint variant is one of the most difficult via ferratas in Salzburgerland and is only suitable for very experienced climbers.
Klammview
This via ferrata is ideal for warming up with a beautiful view of the other via ferratas in the gorge. The C rating is entirely justified and should not be underestimated.

Freifall
A very selective and creatively designed via ferrata that offers plenty of air underfoot. With a climbing length of approx. 250 metres and a height difference of approx. 120 metres, the "free-fall edge" in particular is known for its adrenaline rush!

Kitz via Ferrata
The Kitz via ferrata is a modern and challenging via ferrata in the Kitzlochklamm gorge. The 300 metre long via ferrata runs entirely through the Kitzlochklamm gorge, which is open to the public. The tour is very selective and creative along almost its entire length.

The via ferrata sets are only issued to experienced climbers due to the difficulty of the via ferrata. In poor climbing conditions, such as wet, cold etc., there is also no hire. Because your safety is important to us!
