To protect the environment and avoid the search for a parking space or traffic jams, you can get around using public transport, bus trips or (hiking) cabs.

Just hop on and off you go! For your stay in Taxenbach, you will receive a mobility ticket from your accommodation, which can be used for public transport throughout the entire province of Salzburg.

Thanks to Taxenbach's advantageous location, you can reach the most beautiful excursion destinations and sights in Salzburger Land by public transport.

Bus: In Taxenbach and Eschenau you can get on at several bus stops and take the direct route to Rauris, Zell am See, Bruck an der Glocknerstraße (Ferleiten) or Dienten am Hochkönig.
Train: There is also a train station directly in Taxenbach, with which you can travel to Salzburg in one direction or to Zell am See and Saalfelden in the other. In Zell am See, the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn takes you to all towns in the upper Pinzgau as far as Krimml.
